Some of our Work

Our Front Yard

Our Front Yard

This is a shot from our top deck of my special leisure project.  The "stones" for this project are 32 mpa concrete and were "quarried" from old city walk.  The retaining walls are an unconventional result of my personal observations and advice from the old salts in town.  Unlike the prefab designs, the do not shift. Our next project will be an "Old English" 32mpa dry stone wall.

It is a living wall with space for countless plants (alpines, sedums, etc.) in each crevice. Built into this garden is 1/2" poly pipe running to each level, including the pond, so that the next phase of the project can come about.  Our house is a two and a half story double brick with the basement above grade.  We have three decks on the front of our house and I am planning a drip irrigation system to water each deck and the front garden.  (The bottom entrance to the basement is only half the width with the other half designated for a cistern)
